How to govern [not like that] provides commentary on matters of governance, corporate and otherwise, how states engage with business issues, how states engage with each other.

Donald Nordberg is a long-time journalist and academic, and he serves of the board of directors of two large charitable organizations. He worked a long time at Reuters as a correspondent, editor and executive, living in Germany, Switzerland, Britain and his native United States, and working in a few dozen other countries on assignment. He also published a newsletter on corporate governance. As an academic, he has published two books on corporate governance, one an overview, the other a detailed history of the UK code, and dozens of articles in scholarly journals, links to some of which this “stack” includes.

He holds a PhD in management studies from the University and Liverpool and an MBA from the University of Warwick, as well as Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees in literature and philosophy. He has held teaching and research positions at the several universities, including a professorial roles at Bournemouth University Business School and in the Journalism Department at City, University of London.
